I am passionate about helping individuals and families restore or cultivate emotional, physical, and social well-being and tranquility. Before starting a career in social work and mental health, I served proudly in the United States Army. I am a member of the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Workers and the Georgia Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

I am trained in working with individuals, couples, and families healing from trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, and somatic issues. 

I use a combination of evidence-based and trauma-focused therapeutic approaches that incorporate elements of EMDR, Brief Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT therapy), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Play Therapy, Attachment-Based, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT), and Expressive Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Mind-Body Practices.

Additionally, I employ a person-in-environment approach to help my clients understand their unique challenges and strengths and consider how their relationships and communities (i.e., school, family, work, culture, etc.) impact their well-being.
